First tip; vacuum, vacuum and vacuum some more. Most people don’t vacuum often enough. By vacuuming on a regular bases you remove that loose dirt that acts like sandpaper and wears out your carpet. The next tip is to buy a quailty vacuum cleaner. A good vacuum may run anywhere from $150 to $400 dollars. It is also important to maintain the vacuum. Make sure the beater bar on the bottom doesn’t have string or long hair wrapped around it. Also the bag or container needs to be emptied often. Most vacuums also have a a hepa or air filter, this needs to be cleaned according to the manufactures instructions.
